Julian Rios is an associate at Denko & Bustamante LLP and focuses his practice on litigation and prosecution of intellectual property.
Julian is a native of the Rio Grande Valley and completed his undergraduate degree at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology. During his time at St. Edward’s, he focused heavily on evolutionary biology as a focal point in his undergraduate research. In 2015, his thesiswas published in j source, the official undergraduate research journal of St. Edward’s annual SOURCE Symposium.
With a longstanding interest in the law, Julian continued his education at St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he received a Juris Doctorate. Julian simultaneously attended the university’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences, graduating as a Distinguished Graduate with Honors, receiving a Master of Arts in International Relations with a concentration in Security Policy. During law school, Julian served as a research associate at both the law school and graduate school.
